By Madeline Littlejohns | Last updated Dec 2, 2025
If you’re looking to get away for an affordable family-friendly break over the October half-term break then you can’t go wrong with a Eurocamp escape. With sites across Europe, there's plenty of choice for a great value holiday with the kids.
Not all Eurocamp sites are open at this time of year but there's still a selection of fun-packed options in sunny destinations. As well as in not-so-sunny destinations that are equipped with indoor amenities in case the weather turns sour. Just bear in mind that the sites will be quieter than they are in the summer months and that some facilities might not be available at the end of October.
We’ve scoured the Mumsnet holidays forum to find Eurocamp sites that get the family seal of approval and we've checked that each site is open over the October half-term break. We've also highlighted average temperatures so you can get an idea of the kind of weather you can expect.
Whether you want a change in scenery and to explore somewhere new or want to chase some autumnal sunshine, there’s a Eurocamp site that’ll suit you and your family.

We then did some research looking at which Eurocamp destinations were open for the October half-term break and what customers said about them. We looked at on-site amenities, accommodation options and location.
