If you’re looking for a fun and affordable family holiday in Spain then you really can’t go wrong with Eurocamp. Spain is home to some of the best Eurocamp sites in beautiful locations like the Costa Brava and the Costa Verde.
Mumsnetters love the on-site amenities on offer, with most Eurocamp sites featuring swimming pools, playgrounds, and lots of outdoor activities to keep families busy. There are normally kids’ clubs available too, so parents can relax for a bit while the little ones are entertained. And with a range of accommodation options designed with families in mind - from well equipped lodges to premium holiday homes - there’s something for everyone. And given that the price of a Eurocamp break includes your accommodation, activities and access to kids' clubs, it's brilliant value for money.
Staying on a Eurocamp site is a great way to see Spain on a budget, thanks to a range of carefully chosen locations near beaches and popular attractions. Many of the sites are also accessible by public transport which is great if you’re looking for a car-free holiday. And for real peace of mind they’re ATOL and ABTA protected, as well as coming highly recommended by Mumsnetters looking for an affordable family holiday.

Most Eurocamps in Spain do have WiFi available, but a lot of the time it’s only available in certain parts of the parcs and charges sometimes apply.

While some Eurocamps in Spain don’t allow dogs, most do let you take them on holiday with you. You’ll most likely have to keep them on a lead though.

Your Eurocamp stay includes accommodation, access to the kids’ clubs, and use of on-site facilities including swimming pools, activities, and entertainment. Meals aren’t included so you’ll need to make your own food or head to the on-site restaurants. What’s the best Eurocamp in Spain?
We think the best Eurocamp site for families in Spain is Playa Montroig on the Costa Dorada. This large, toddler-friendly site has everything you could need for a great holiday, from comfortable accommodation and a great choice of places to eat, to a beautifully sculpted pool complex. There’s also crazy golf, five playground areas, and a range of sporting activities to keep the whole family happy.
How we chose our recommendations
Because we know that there's nothing like a real recommendation from a fellow parent, we first headed to the Mumsnet forums to find out which Eurocamp sites were being recommended for families.
We then did some research looking at which Eurocamp destinations had won accolades and what customer reviews said about them. We looked at on-site amenities, accommodation options and location. Having collated all that information, we then narrowed our list down to the best Eurocamp sites for families.
