Best integrated dishwashers 2025: top models from Bosch, Miele, Beko and more
Looking for an integrated dishwasher that blends seamlessly into your kitchen? Here’s our round-up of the best built-in dishwashers.
By Lucy Cotterill | Last updated Dec 2, 2025
If you’re upgrading your kitchen or looking to create a modern and stylish aesthetic in the heart of your home, integrated appliances like dishwashers and fridge freezers are likely to be high on your wishlist. Unlike freestanding appliances which slot underneath your countertops, the best integrated dishwashers are designed to fit directly behind your cupboard doors, creating a seamless and consistent look within your kitchen space.
Integrated dishwashers have become incredibly popular in recent years and make a great choice for open-plan kitchens due to their low running volume. Most integrated dishwashers also have many of the key features seen in freestanding dishwashers including flexible shelves, cutlery trays and quick washes, as well as eco-friendly cycles that offer lower water and energy consumption. With so many options to choose from, however, how do you know which is the best choice for your family?
To help you find the best integrated dishwasher for your home, we conducted extensive research into the top-rated models on the market. First up, we explored the tried-and-tested experiences of Mumsnet users - the UK's largest online network of parents. We scoured hundreds of posts and threads on our forums, searching for the trusted dishwasher brands our users recommend - based on key factors like cleaning performance, capacity, reliability and overall value for money.
We then examined verified customer reviews across major retailers and analysed expert picks to curate a shortlist of products that really stand out. We also tested the Hotpoint Hydroforce Dishwasher in-house, assessing it across a range of criteria to offer our own hands-on insight. With this combination of community wisdom, real-life experience, and expert feedback, you can feel confident in our guide to the best integrated dishwashers 2025.

What Mumsnet users say
When it comes to Mumsnet user recommendations for dishwashers, Bosch is a name that comes up time and time again, with their appliances praised for their reliability, range of features and excellent value for money. This fully integrated Series 6 is no exception, with an impressive B efficiency rating and water and energy-saving features that can knock money off your utility bills too.
A great choice for open-plan homes, this Quiet Mark-accredited dishwasher has running volumes of just 40dB, so it won’t disturb the peace when you're working from home.
We also love the adjustable layout and Rackmatic shelving system that maximises space and makes loading the contents simple and stress-free. The top and bottom racks are height adjustable by up to 5cm, helping accommodate even larger items such as big plates, serving dishes and tall glasses with ease. You won’t find an unruly cutlery basket here either. Instead, this Bosch integrated dishwasher features a retractable Vario Drawer that is conveniently tucked out of the way on the third level, providing plenty of space for cutlery and smaller utensils.
As well as the ability to turn any setting into a quick cycle with SpeedPerfect Plus, the time remaining light projector lets you see how long is left on the cycle without needing to open the dishwasher door. Plus, if you want the dishes clean and ready for when you get home, simply use the compatible Home Connect app (available on Android and iOS) to start the cycle directly from your mobile phone.
Best of all, thanks to Zeolith® technology that uses minerals to absorb excess moisture, your dishes won’t even need a once-over with a tea towel. Our only gripe is the high price – but you're getting a lot of bang for your buck, including a five-year guarantee.

What Mumsnet users say
If you’re on a more limited budget but still want a dishwasher packed full of useful features, the Beko DIN16430 Fully Integrated Dishwasher is an excellent choice - with 14 place settings that offer ample space for medium-sized households.
While some may prefer the flexibility of a cutlery tray, the large handle on the removable cutlery basket makes unloading quick and easy. The upper basket on this budget dishwasher is also height adjustable, with three different levels to create additional space when washing larger pots, pans or containers.
We love the 58-minute Quick & Shine programme for when you’re more limited on time, while the eco-friendly auto mode is a welcome addition. Using clever sensors, it detects how dirty your contents are, before adjusting the wash settings to suit the load - saving you time, water and energy in the process.

Tested by MNHQ staff Nino Stylianou: Read our in-depth Hotpoint Hydroforce H8I HP42 L Dishwasher review
If you’re upgrading from the Tetris-like loading of a bog-standard dishwasher, you’ll love the space-maximising capability of this Hotpoint Hydroforce, with a Maxi Space tub that offers 10% more useable space than your average integrated dishwasher.
With 14 place settings and not two, but three fully adjustable shelves, the Hotpoint Hydroforce is quite the Tardis inside. Adjustable height baskets help accommodate large plates, pots and pans, while lowering the racking prongs can help you slot in bulkier items like mixing bowls, so you don't need to wash them by hand.
The third Hydroforce rack at the top features a small cutlery tray and offers additional space to spread out your contents. However, I did find the jet performance was more impressive on the lower shelves, so you may prefer to give items a quick rinse before loading the top shelf.
To save time and use less energy, there's also an intelligent auto programme, which adjusts depending on the level of dirt in the load. I was also impressed with the drying power of this dishwasher – the door opens automatically at the end of the cycle to release steam and moisture so pots don't come out damp.

What Mumsnet users say
If you’ve got a smaller kitchen but want to avoid the hassle of washing dirty dishes by hand, a slimline dishwasher can make a great addition to your home - providing space for up to ten place settings when loaded correctly.
Not only does this DIS16R10 Integrated Slimline model have an affordable price tag, but it’s also got some great features that are ideal for busy families, including a quick ‘mini’ 30-minute wash for a full load of lightly soiled dishes and a Fast+ function, which can shorten programmes up to 70% by using higher water temperatures. As a result, it’s not as energy efficient as some full-sized appliances, so you may want to opt for the longer, more eco-friendly programmes when less pressed for time.
With a removable cutlery basket and folding plate supports that can be lowered to make room for larger items, you may be surprised at just how much these slimline dishwashers can accommodate.
Best semi-integrated dishwasher
Indesit I3BL626UK Semi Integrated Standard Dishwasher

What Mumsnet users say
Semi-integrated dishwashers offer all the aesthetic benefits of an integrated appliance, with a visible control panel for additional ease of use. The Indesit I3BL626UK Dishwasher features an easy-to-use settings panel, which is well suited to those who want peace of mind that their dishwasher is working as it should be.
While the cutlery basket does take up significant space, this dishwasher has a 14-place setting capacity, with an adjustable basket so you can easily tailor the shelves to your contents.
We love the quick cycle that allows you to wash up in less than 30 minutes, while the Push&Go setting is a clever feature that automatically adjusts the wash depending on how dirty your pots are.
Admittedly, there are more high-tech semi-integrated dishwashers out there, but the affordable price and glowing reviews put this at the top of our list as a basic dishwasher that does the job well.

What Mumsnet users say
When it comes to home appliances, Mumsnet users agree that you tend to get what you pay for. While they certainly don’t come cheap, Miele dishwashers are tested to the equivalent of 20 years of usage, so you can be confident that your appliance is built to last.
A fully integrated, super quiet dishwasher, this premium appliance is well suited to open-plan kitchens, allowing you to run a wash load straight after lunch without causing a disturbance when working from home. With 3D MultiFlex baskets and an adjustable cutlery tray, loading is simple and straightforward, even with non-conventional kitchenware.
With ten different washing programmes to choose from, you can easily find a cycle to suit your needs – from the 58-minute quick power wash when you’re in a hurry, to a gentle wash for delicate items, and even an intensive 75-degree wash for cleaning pots and pans with more stubborn stains, grease or food residue. If you’re not pressed for time, however, we recommend the eco cycle, which combined with auto-dosing technology, ensures you only use the water, energy and detergent that you need.

What Mumsnet users say
Neff appliances are well regarded amongst Mumsnet users and online reviewers and this smart integrated dishwasher is no exception. Giving you full control over your wash cycles, you’ll find six unique programmes, as well as four special options that can tackle pretty much every cleaning need. From the extra-speed function that can clean three times faster, to the Chef 70-degree setting for stubbornly soiled pots and pans, you can even set your favourite combinations in the app for the ultimate convenience.
Using the Home Connect app, you can ask your Alexa or Smart Home device to select programmes, start your dishwasher or even switch to silence mode when required. While it doesn’t show the cycle time like some models, we love the light that projects onto your floor, serving as a visual reminder that the dishwasher is in use.
Accommodating up to 14 place settings, this Neff dishwasher has a height-adjustable top basket which can sit at three different height settings, as well as folding racks and a convenient cutlery tray, allowing different-sized dishes, glasses, pots and pans to be loaded (and removed) with ease.
What is an integrated dishwasher?
Unlike freestanding dishwashers that have a visible control panel to the front, integrated dishwashers are fitted behind a cupboard door front that matches the rest of your kitchen and are designed to blend seamlessly into their surroundings.
Fully integrated dishwashers use controls located on the top of the door. You simply choose the cycle and press start, with the wash cycle commencing automatically when the door is closed.
To prevent you from accidentally opening the door when the dishwasher is in use, most integrated dishwashers project a light onto the floor below when the appliance is running, while some models even project the time remaining.
Integrated dishwashers can create a consistent, stylish look in your kitchen, however, you’ll need to factor in the cost of an additional door facia. They also tend to be a little more expensive than freestanding options.
What is a semi-integrated dishwasher?
A semi-integrated dishwasher is a good compromise if you’re struggling to decide between a freestanding and fully integrated dishwasher.
The majority of a semi-integrated dishwasher front panel is hidden behind a matching kitchen door, however, the control panel remains visible at the top. This means the buttons, cycle settings or LCD will be visible at all times, including when the cycle is running.
Some find that semi-integrated dishwashers offer additional peace of mind, as you can visually see any errors or check that the cycle is running as it should. There are generally fewer semi-integrated options to choose from, so you may be a little more restricted when selecting your chosen brand and features.
What do dishwasher energy ratings mean?
The energy efficiency scale you see on household appliances such as washing machines, freezers and dishwashers was revised in March 2021. Considering both water consumption and energy use, appliances are rated from A to G, with the A rating being the most efficient and the best for your energy bills.
By their very nature, dishwashers aren’t the most energy-efficient appliances, and at the time of writing, an energy rating of C or D can generally be considered good for fully integrated and semi-integrated dishwashers. Many brands are taking steps to be more environmentally friendly, however, including adding features such as eco cycles that use less water – check out our guide to the best energy-efficient dishwashers for more on this.
How to choose the best integrated dishwasher
With so many options to choose from, here are some things you may like to consider when choosing the best integrated dishwasher for your home. Then, once you’ve made your choice, we’d recommend pairing with the best dishwasher tablets and dishwasher cleaner to keep your pots sparkling after every single wash.
Size: Do you have enough space for a full-sized integrated dishwasher or do you need to opt for a slimline or compact model?
Type: Do you want a fully integrated dishwasher or a semi-integrated dishwasher? The latter has a visible control panel that makes it slightly easier to use, however, there are generally fewer options to choose from. A fully integrated dishwasher offers a more natural integration with your kitchen counters.
Capacity: Consider how many place settings the dishwasher can accommodate. If you have a large family, it may be best to opt for the 14-place setting appliances or run your dishwasher more regularly as a result.
Reliability: There’s no sure-fire way of knowing how long an appliance will last or how reliable it’ll be, but Mumsnet users tend to praise brands such as Bosch and Miele for their long-lasting and reliable kitchen appliances.
Flexible shelves: Does the dishwasher have height-adjustable shelves that can accommodate larger pots and pans as well as traditional cups, mugs, plates and bowls? Flexible racking systems and a top shelf that can be raised to create additional space can certainly take the stress out of loading your dishwasher.
Tray or basket?: While some integrated dishwashers have a removable cutlery basket for convenience, others prefer the flexibility of a drawer, freeing up valuable space on the bottom shelf for extra plates and cookware.
Features and programmes: How many different cycles does the dishwasher offer? Are there short cycles for when you are more limited on time? Is there an extra clean zone for more intense jobs?
Noise level: How loud is the dishwasher when it's running? This is especially important if you have an open-plan kitchen. While most integrated dishwashers are relatively quiet, those with a rating in the early-40dBs or lower are the quietest.
Budget: A new dishwasher model can vary vastly in price, from a couple of hundred pounds to more than £1,000. While more expensive models are a large initial investment, many of them offer long lifespans and overall good value for money. When considering budget, it's also worth factoring in warranties, as this should give you a good idea of how long you can expect the dishwasher to last.
What is the best integrated dishwasher?
While the best integrated dishwasher for your family will depend on your budget, the Bosch brand is recommended time and time again on the Mumsnet forums, based on its reliability, ease of use, quality of cleaning and ability to fix in the event of any unexpected faults.
While it is pricey, we think the Bosch Series 6 SMV6ZCX10G Fully Integrated Dishwasher offers excellent value for money, with flexible shelves, a range of programmes and excellent eco credentials. While the eco cycle could be faster, its superior performance and reliability make this a trusted choice for your kitchen.
