My verdict
A criticism of the 2024 calendar was how similar it was to the 2023 one. For 2025, Jurlique hasn’t shaken things up much either. But to be fair, if you’re a brand built on natural, effective skincare, there’s not always a need to reinvent the wheel.
What you’re getting is classic Jurlique: botanical extracts, clean formulations and products that feel good on the skin. The standout this year is the full-size Rare Rose Face Oil, which instantly makes the £110 price tag feel justified. The addition of the Calendula line is refreshing too, offering calming options for sensitive or stressed skin.
That said, losing the Supreme range will be a blow for those who want luxe, anti-ageing products. And five face oils in one calendar is… a lot. If you like variety or a mix of skincare and makeup, you may find better options elsewhere.
Jurlique itself has been around since 1985, founded by a biochemist and a botanist who set up a biodynamic farm in the Adelaide Hills. That’s still where many of the brand’s roses, lavender and calendula are grown, and its focus on sustainability and farm-to-bottle transparency is clear in the products here.
For Jurlique fans, this calendar is a safe bet. It’s a thoughtful, skincare-only option that delivers on quality, even if it’s not the most exciting choice on the market.
How I’ve tested
I got hold of one of the first samples of this year’s Jurlique calendar back in mid-August, which allowed me over a month to put the products through their paces before the calendar launched in September.
After testing, I’ve scored Jurlique’s 2025 calendar across eight areas, converting the results into a star rating. Four of the criteria are scored out of 15, and the other four are scored out of 10, so you know I’ve looked at everything from performance to presentation before giving my final verdict.
Here are my scores for each category:
Performance, 13/15: The line-up includes proven bestsellers like the Rosewater Balancing Mist and the upgraded full-size Rare Rose Face Oil, plus new Calendula products that are soothing and effective. Losing the Supreme range means fewer advanced anti-ageing actives though.
Quality and durability, 13/15: All the products come properly sealed with full ingredient lists and use gentle, effective preservatives. Sizes are travel-friendly, so you’re likely to finish them while they’re still fresh.
Ease of use, 13/15: The 24 numbered compartments are easy to navigate, and the product sizes are large enough to give you a genuine sense of how they work. A suggested usage pamphlet for beginners would be a helpful addition, but overall it’s straightforward.
Value for money, 8/15: At £110 for £320 worth of products, the headline saving is impressive for Jurlique lovers. The full-size Rare Rose Face Oil adds strong value, but the loss of the premium Supreme range makes the calendar feel less luxurious compared to last year.
Selection of products, 7/10: There’s a broad spread across the Rose, Calendula, Herbal Recovery and Nutri-Define ranges, plus body and hand care. But the sheer number of face oils (five) may feel repetitive, and there’s no makeup or SPF.
Product safety and authenticity, 10/10: Jurlique is transparent about ingredients, allergens and sourcing. Everything is clean, dermatologist tested and true to the brand’s farm-to-bottle ethos.
Seasonality and usage patterns, 8/10: Hydrating creams, nourishing oils and hand creams all suit the winter season, but the selection leans too heavily on oils and misses a festive finale product.
Overall presentation, 7/10: The reusable keepsake box, decorated with bespoke botanical artwork, feels premium and gift-worthy. It's not very Christmassy, though.
Overall score: 79/100
How much is the Jurlique beauty Advent calendar?
The 2025 Jurlique beauty Advent calendar is £110, which is the same price as the 2024 edition. The difference is in value: 2024’s was worth £310, while 2025’s is worth £320 - so you’re getting £10 more product for the same spend.
What’s inside Jurlique’s 2025 beauty Advent calendar?
This year’s calendar introduces several new products. The biggest change is the launch of the Calendula line, with four minis - a toner, serum, cream and face oil - alongside an Aloe Vera Hand Cream, a Herbal Recovery Bi-phase Serum and a Replenishing Cleansing Lotion.
There are some upgrades too. Most notably, the Rare Rose Face Oil is now a full-size 30ml rather than last year’s 10ml, which makes a real difference in terms of value. There are also three hand creams instead of two, giving a bit more variety.
On the flip side, 2025 has lost the entire Supreme range, which was Jurlique’s most premium anti-ageing collection. The shower gel and body lotion have shrunk from 50ml to 30ml, and there’s no lip balm or cleansing oil this year. That makes the overall mix feel slightly less luxurious than 2024 in all honesty.
Plenty of favourites return though for Jurlique loyalists, including the Rose Hand Cream, Rare Rose Cream, Hydrating Rose Mask, Rose Shower Gel, Rose Body Oil and Rose Body Lotion. Core staples like the Rosewater Balancing Mist, Activating Water Essence+, Herbal Recovery Face Oil and Nutri-Define minis are also back, ensuring fans still get a good spread of Jurlique’s bestsellers.
Here are my favourites from this year’s edition:
Favourite #1: Activating Water Essence+ 20ml
This was a highlight product for me last year. So much so that I shouted it from the rooftops to all my friends, and one even went and bought it herself - she’s now also obsessed with it. This multitasking hero is lightweight, hydrating and preps your skin in seconds. For dry skin like mine, it acts like a drink of water before your moisturise, which helps everything else to absorb better.
Favourite #2: Aloe Vera Hand Cream 15ml
Let’s be honest, as mums, our hands can take a beating. Aloe vera is one of my favourites, so I was very happy to find this new item in the Advent calendar! It’s soothing for sensitive skin without being too heavy or greasy, and I can apply it and get on with things with ease. At 15ml, it’s also a perfect size for my handbag while out and about.
Favourite #3: Radiant Skin Foaming Cleanser 20g
Exhausted at the end of the day? Can’t be bothered to sort your face out? I can relate. This, however, is very quick and most importantly - effective. One pump, wash your face and then you’re done. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin but still leaves you feeling properly clean.

Who is the Jurlique beauty Advent calendar most suited for?
The Jurlique 2025 beauty Advent calendar is best suited for skincare purists and Jurlique loyalists. It’s packed with botanical-based creams, mists, serums and oils, so it will appeal to anyone who wants a clean, natural skincare routine.
It’s less ideal for people who want a mix of beauty products - there’s no makeup, fragrance or festive extras - and with five different face oils inside, it’s very much geared towards those who enjoy layering skincare rather than experimenting widely.
In short: a safe bet for Jurlique fans, but not the most exciting choice for general beauty lovers looking for variety.
